Life's Peachy-Easy and Delicious Peach Crisp Recipe

After spending a few days making jam I had so many peaches left over I needed to do something with them all.  I decided to make a crisp.  I absolutely LOVE apple crisp so I figured I would equally love peach crisp.

This peach crisp recipe is not only easy but delicious.

Ingredients:

Peach Filling-
6 cups fresh sliced peaches. (I found it took about 2.5 peaches to make 2 cups)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup unbleached flour
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Crumbly Topping-
1 cup unbleached flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 stick of butter

Step 1-Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2-Toss sliced peaches, lemon juice, flour, brown sugar in a bowl to create filling


Step 3-Mix oats, flour, cinnamon, brown sugar well



Step 4-Slowly add in stick of butter in small slices until well blended


Step 5-Place peach filling in a well greased 9x9 pan or casserole dish


Step 6-Evenly sprinkle crumb topping


Step 7-Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until brown and crisp on top
(this is the WORST picture ever)


Step 8-Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream


Step 9-Create the perfect bite... and ENJOY
