Foodie Friday-Crock Pot Beef Roast Recipe

I am not usually a beef eater.  And to be honest I rarely make beef roasts.  The main reason is they always turn out so dry.  So I typically stick to the beef's distant cousin pork... I call that my no fail roast.

But I now have a secret weapon that I will now share with you in the following recipe for a Crock Pot Beef Roast.

Ingredients-

3-4 lb beef roast

4-5 cups of your favorite chopped veggies (I used onions, garlic, celery, potatoes, and carrots)

(seasons and TENDERIZES)(secret ingredient)

2 cups of water

Yup... that's IT!!!! Super easy so far eh?

Next whip out your handy dandy Crock Pot. Coat with non stick spray.  And it works much better if it has water spots and drips... really it does!!!
(or it just means you were too lazy to wipe it off before you took a picture)

Throw in your roast.  Arrange veggies nice around edges of roast.  Just because it looks pretty.

Next whisk your seasoning and water.

I know... it's getting difficult.  But stay with me... we are almost DONE.
Pour mixture over top of roast and veggies.

Now here comes the hard part.  Set it and forget it.  I hope that phrase isn't patented by Ronco or I am in big trouble right about now.  uh oh
Cook on low for about 8-10 hours or high for 4-5.

Then you get to enjoy THIS amazing beef roast.

It was fork tender and seasoned to perfection.

Disclaimer-Shirley J was kind enough to provide me with the seasoning to cook this perfect roast.  I however take full responsibility for how amazing it tasted.  Because that's how I roll.
